THE HEARTY KIDNEY BEANS SALAD.......
Some of you, people may think that salads are boring, cz its raw and is no fun in eating it...............I think salads are a punch of nutrition and fresh flavour at the same time...!!! I try to make salads of all kind, sometimes beans, sometimes sprouts, sometimes with boiled pasta..... whatever is available in my kitchen I try to create dishes from them...........and its quite interesting and ingenious cz I have to improvise ,with whatever is in the kitchen and that increases my creativity...B-) wallah!! .......!!! So, this one day my Mumma boiled some kidney beans to make Rajma ,which I love........ !!! I stole..:p a handful of boiled kidney beans to invent my dish.....and this is a true winner...its filling, whole some and has a meaty texture which I love ... ^_^....can say its a vegetarian meat..........:P
Here's, the recipe .........
INGREDIENTS-
1.boiled kidney beans with salt(94 calories in 28gms)
2.one onion(40 calories in 1)
3.one tomato(30 calories in1)
4.coriander
5.lime juice
6.chilly powder(optional)
7.pepper.
TOTAL CALORIES-164
PROCEDURE-
Take a bowl, throw in all the chopped onion,tomato and coriander in it.... add boiled kidney beans- you don't need salt for this dish as the beans are boiled in salt, but if you need you can, taste varies, ,than add pepper to it and squeeze some lime juice..........this fresh, tangy salad is ready to fill your stomach with goodness ................!! So simple, yet so delicious...!
