The picture above is rotini pasta, these are spiral ones and coloured-red,white and green. these pasta spirals are perfect for a tomato based sauce as they encompass the chunky sauce in the cavity surrounding them, so whenever you take a bite, you get some sauce with it, I cooked it without cheese, cz it tastes perfect without cheese.  INGREDIENTS - garlic cloves 4-5 olive oil 1tbsp tomatoes chopped finely 2 raddish leaves a handful salt pepper boiled riotini(spiral) pasta STEPS TO MAKE PASTA ROTINI - throw the crushed garlic cloves in sizzling oil, let it cook till you can smell the garlic strongly. throw the finely chopped tomatos in it with the salt and pepper as per taste. put chopped raddish leaves in it, keep the leaves, Al dante, I love the crunch in vegetables. Science can tell us how, but it can't tell us why!

Image
I am after this since morning. Science proves that how the universe came into existence. As I know, the big bang theory! But scientists can't prove y! Why is the universe all perfect. The planets are at the perfect distance from each other. The molecular combination. The existence of organism. The evolution of Man from apes. And the existence of the earth for human beings to live in. Every action has a reaction,  what you do so shall you reap. Is it just pure coincidence,  or does God do all the things. Or is it plain science. I believe in God, as I am a Christian,  I am not an atheist, but I ponder on the subject,  is God really there, so where is the proof, because science can't proof why, the universe came into existence,  why are there galaxies,  why we human are at the apex, of the pyramid of living organisms. Why! My research is incomplete because I can't come to a definite conclusion,  because I haven't experienced the supernatur...

TRAVEL TO SOUTH- DOSA, a mid night present.

Image
I live in Maharashtra, nagpur so I can't get authentic dosa's here....:/ boo hoo!! I had authentic dosa's in hyderabad, chennai but its been quite a while. The dosa served there is contrary to what its served here..... :|..... In south viz; andra pradesh, tamil nadu, kerala, Kannada.... The dosa's may vary from state to state, but the flavour what you get there , I never found that here, or in any other place except south. I love south Indian food and culture a lot,I feel a connection cz my mother is telugu...... :-* According to my perception, south indians are conservative, well cultured, educated and dedicated , humble people....... :) Oh I ward off from the main topic here, "dosa". My mother always keeps the batter ready in the fridge for me, as I am quite fussy..!(maybe that's why I am getting fat XD..) Jokes apart, I let the batter stay in the fridge for 4-5 days for fermentation till it gets a hint of sourness to it, I kn...

CHING'S MANCHURIAN NOODLES- A REVIEW!!

I saw the advertisement my name is Ranveer chingaaaa........ :D XD :P.............. and was quite fascinated by the ad , as I like Ranveer Singh's physique.......:P #blush ^_^ lmfao......... jokes apart........ I thought of giving a try to Ching's noodles , I am quite bored of eating Maggie :/.......... Ching's noodles are quite pricey if compared to maggie one's and the packing is of good quality and the noodles are wheat flour based......!! that's all I can say, cause the noodles tasted pathetic..... :@ I usually use Ching's products in a number of my recipe's coz they taste soo good, but these noodles and the singaporian one's........... #gross as hell!!! After taking a of slurp, I was stunned, that what the hell did I just put in my mouth . WHO ARE WE FOOLING.....?!

Contemporarily , human beings think life's a game.......life constitute of many components; grief, bliss, love, hatred, birth, death is an essential part of it....!!! There is a huge difference in the thinking of people of modern generation and the people who belong to the old generation...!! I ponder on this subject , many a times, and I am writing this article , because I want you to contemplate; on this as well. Don't you think, in olden days, the resources were scarce, but they were contented in what they had, and they found happiness and pleasure in things around them, but on the contrary, we who belong to the present generation are never contented of what we have. We have many resources , we have the money, we have the medium, but still we feel that something is incomplete  . According to my knowledge, people now-a-days suffer from depression more, as compared to the old generation, have you thought why is it so...?! The thing is , in olden times, the people where true ,...

THE MGHTY MUTTON SAMOSA..!!

Image
I don't eat mutton -_-...,... :D Still i am writing about it, weird?! .... But i do eat mutton samosa's XD .....bizzare me! I like these fried stuffed minced mutton triangles. They look scrumptious and tastes finger licking good. I don't exactly know the recipe of this dish cz my father got it made by a man, who is an expert in making non-veg samosa's. For vegetarians , there is prototype of samosa's, i.e; triangles made of refined flour stuffed with mashed potatoes, peas, chilly mixture. Contrary, to this, for us non-vegetarians (i might sound discriminating :p ) samosa's has a diversity, sometimes stuffed with potatoes, sometimes with minced chicken, beef or mutton. And that is delectable.  I know, i know..... -_- that they are high in calories , but remember that good things in life are either illegal, costly or fattening...... XD ...:p.....!! Do try these.... CHICK CHICK CHICKEN CUTLETS

Image
Sometimes, I get totally bored by eating chicken thighs, breasts and fillets...... So I tried something ingenious with chicken, I got chicken mince instead of the pieces. Threw some ingredients to it and that tasted like chicken heaven. I had these cutlets with bun, like an Indian burger. Everybody in my house loves it, we have this normally on Sunday mornings.............as its a lethargic rest day for us, so the dish should be heavy and comforting as well. My mother guided me during this experiment, otherwise, I would have made a blunder...!! Because of the supervision, this dish came out perfectly........... with no cutlets left in the plate. Here's the recipe- MIXTURE- half kg chicken minced one onion green chilly 2 chopped coriander a handful chopped finely salt red chilly powder turmeric eggs 2 gram flour(if the mixture doesn't hold in) oil PROCEDURE- heat some oil in a big flat pan mix all the ingredients as mentioned above and make small pat...

MY VERSION- ASSORTED RED PASTA

Image
Apparently , this is a desi red pasta dish my version, totally for the indian pallet. Sometimes, you feel like eating something different with an indian touch to it, so i came up with this recipe. You can use the leftover different pastas and boil them together, i got these assorted one's from the store, looks really good. For indans pasta is not a meal, and they don't really accept the term "AL DANTE" cz we indians like food thats totally cooked, we even prefer meat thats about to fall off from the bone. But trust me boil, till the pasta is "AL DANTE" tastes perfect. Al dante means  cooked so as to be still firm when bitten , and i think vegetables should also be cooked in this way , for the nice crunch you get when bite into it. try it...... INGREDIENTS- boiled assorted pasta 100gms olive oil one tbsp mushrooms a handful one onions julliene cut coriander fresh red chillies salt tomato ketchup pepper chesse(optional) HOW TO COOK ASSOR...

ROTI K CHURA

Image
I am not sure if it's a Maharashtrian dish or not. I learned it from my maid. Sometimes, cooking makes me feel so good, I don't have to think about the things happening around me. Cooking takes me to another world, where I don't have to bother about anything. Sometimes, being careless is what you need, in life. Sometimes, being alone, helps you discover the real you. And cooking really helps you to go on this amazing journey of discovering oneself, what you really are, what you really need, and what you want from life. I seldom cook, it's the best way to run away from all the problems, calm myself and avoid people.... lol...! And that really works for me................ :D Cooking is therapeutic.....!! And that's the ultimate truth.....! This is a very simple recipe.......... You just need to soothe some chopped onions in oil throw some chopped tomatoes and coriander, sprinkle red chilly powder and turmeric powder and salt off course! and add hand torn...

JUST FOR A CHANGE- soya chops........... LENTS !

Image
Soya chops are soya bean paste moulded in shape of chops on ice- cream sticks. Soya bean has a quite similar texture like meat, and it absorbs the flavours of all the ingredients added to it well. Cooking these is not at all an ardious task. I cook these in two different ways, one in which i add cream and grill it and the other is which i am going to tell you about, which constitutes of just salt ,pepper and oregano. EGG NOODLE BLAZE...!

Image
Egg noodles are full on nutrition and calories as well. But these are filling, I always have them in my kitchen. It's way much healthier than Maggi. I have read about Maggi that, its wax coated for the perfect cube shape and its takes 3 days for the acid in the human stomach to digest....... horrible indeed...!! I ain't a hypocrite. If I have a craving for noodles,  i eat the egg ones...... rather than the waxed ones.... This is a simple recipe with some vegetables thrown in the pan with egg noodles.................and wallah , a filling dish ..!!! For this dish, you'll need - 1.boiled egg noodles 2.onion chopped 3.garlic 4.coriander 5.tomato ketchup 6.salt 7.pepper 8.sprouts(for garnishing) 9.chilly powder(optional-the indian touch) This is so quick, just caramalise the chopped onion and garlic into a pan, add ketchup salt and pepper to it. Cook. add coriander and egg noodles.........There you go, ready to eat..........             ...
